Desa means village in the Indonesian language. It’s the coming together of family, friends, and community.

Our vision is to gather family and friends together around delicious, nourishing food, replenishing drinks, and more. Our aim is to create a space that feels just like an extension of home.

Naturally Nourishing

Our mission is to make healthy eating delicious, simple, and accessible.

Each dish has been designed to be well-balanced and offer optimal nutrition through carefully considered ingredients. Our gut-friendly breakfast options are intentionally crafted, so you start the day off on the right foot. The lunch menu rotates daily to ensure nutritional diversity.

At Café Desa, our specialty single-origin coffee is seasonal (as it should be!) to allow for farm and soil regeneration. Our specialty loose tea has been chosen for its incredible taste and their commitment to sustainability.

  • Kontext Coffee

    It is Kontext Coffee’s aim to provide you with the best quality specialty-grade coffee they can possibly find and produce. Just as important to them though is HOW they achieve this goal. As a business and as people, Kontext Coffee’s actions and decisions are informed by their values and beliefs. They are convinced that focusing on these values and beliefs will always guide them to make the right decisions:

  • The Rare Tea Company

    The Rare Tea Company’s aim is simple; to source and supply the world's best loose leaf tea, directly from farmers and their tea gardens.

    From a selection of the most lovingly blended English Breakfast teas to the most delicious selection of unique, single estate green teas, white teas, oolongs, black teas, pu'er and herbal tea infusions, the Rare Tea Company hopes to have everything to make your heart sing. They also seek out the best teapots, teacups, tea strainers and tea sets to bring you everything you need to enjoy the simple luxury of loose leaf tea.

  • Napton Cidery

    The first batch of Napton cider was made from an apple tree in founders Charlotte and Jolyon Olivier’s garden. They didn’t know it but it turns out they were born to be cider makers!

    Napton Cidery was started the very next year, with the sole mission to collect unwanted apples from their village and surrounding orchards to make something wonderful.

    From pressing a simple 2000 litres in 2015, we now press over 90,000 litres per year, all sourced from small, traditional orchards in Herefordshire to support sustainable British farming. Napton Cidery is committed to sustainability, which is one of the many reasons they are stocked in Café Desa.
